Harry Tuttle, an Educator in Residence with the Living SchoolBook, received his Ed.D. in Foreign Language Education and Culture from SUNY Buffalo and his M.S. in English and B.A. in English and Spanish from SUNY Oswego.

Harry has over 30 years of teaching experience in the North Syracuse Central and Ithaca City School Districts, having taught English, Spanish, English as a Second Language and having served as a technology integration teacher and district technology coordinator. He has also taught at SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Oswego, Universidad Catolica in Ecuador, and Columbia College, and is currently an adjunct instructor at Syracuse University. His teaching is centered on the design of effective educational technologies. His professional endeavors have included serving as President of the New York State Association for Computers and Technology in Education (NYSCATE), as well as on the NYSCATE Board of Directors, and President of the Technology Coordinators Special Interest Group of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

Harry has a critical role in a number of Living SchoolBook projects. His primary efforts are currently focused on the technology integration efforts related to the curricula of the teacher preparation programs within the School of Education at Syracuse University. He is also involved in a project related to the development of electronic portfolios by students in those programs
