Sean Keesler received his B.S. in Forest Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and is currently pursuing a masters in Information Management in the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University . Following 6 years of service in the U.S. Navy as an electronic equipment maintenance technician and reactor plant operator on a nuclear submarine and 2 years of experience as a computer support technician, Sean joined the Living SchoolBook as a Science Field Coordinator.
In addition to his role in this capacity, Sean has a wide range of additional responsibilities with the Living SchoolBook. He is the primary technical support coordinator for all Living SchoolBook projects and activities. He is a primary player with respect to overall technology integration in the development of a web-based environment for learning and collaboration. He also has responsibility for the maintenance and accountability of all technical resources and serves as an Instructional Technologist in support of faculty, teachers, and students.
- The implementation and development of learning management and portfolio systems which provide tools that encourage differentiated instruction and deepen the relationship between teachers and students.
- The IT role in K12 systems.
