Reflections on Amsterdam


My partner, M.H. , and I had to do an extreme amount of work through out this project. Unfortunately we were unable to get a good amount of information on the second mural" Departure of a Packet Boat". There was a frustrating part to this mural research, I couldn't find any information on the artist. The artist's name was Henry Schnakenburg.

However when I e-mail the Amsterdam newspaper, called THE RECORDER , they gave us an interesting reply. They said no they've never did a story on the two murals or the artist. Then they said they would do a story on them. When they were done sent me the article. When this project is over I plan to tell them about the information we found, and hopefully convince them to a follow-up story about the murals. Maybe get the website address and/or in my partner's and my name, in the paper for a little publicity for the project.
