The bridge building project is the culminating activity for the 8th grade Science topic: Structures. Students form four member "construction companies". Each person has his/her specific job in designing and building a bridge. The bridge is then tested for strength and must fit certain structural parameters. This project fulfills the new M.S.T. requirements for NYS.
