Description: Blue, brown, green colored still life fruit: oranges, blueberries, pears, cherries and leaves. All in a fluted bowl of brown and white. The edge of the bowl has a brown trip and leaf decoration.

Reverse of the painting reads:

"Painted by Collata Holcomb, daughter of Allen Holcomb. At my death to be bequeathed to New York State Historical Association, Cooperstown, N.Y. Marjorie Phelps Starr. Given To me 1947 by Mrs. Elizabeth Peck Sheff, great-granddaughter of Allen Holcomb, grand niece of Collata Holcomb."
