Yuhong Ma, a first year doctoral student in Syracuse University, is from People's Republic of China - the country which has the Great Wall and the biggest square in the world - Tian An Men Square. She has already got used to "crazy" American life here, and is enjoying her first car in the United States.
Kellie Meloling is a fifth grade teacher in East Syracuse, New York. She is currently finishing up her masters degree at Syracuse University in Elementary education. Kellie lives a very active and fulfilling life. She just completed the NYC Marathon in November of 1997 and has set her sights on more upcoming marathons. Kellie, also enjoys spending afternoons reading, drawing and relaxing in the outdoors.
Don Gates is a graduate student at Syracuse University. He is currently studying urban history and citizenship. Don enjoys getting up early, when the sun gets up, to play basketball at the local YMCA. When not working he enjoys going for long walks in all kinds of weather.
