REFLECTIONS ON VISUAL INTERPRETATIONS OF ORAL HISTORIES STUDENTS

Answer all of the following questions truthfully and thoughtfully.

1. Student name(s): Dan and Scott

2. Period of time selected: 1960Ős (Mullin Era)

3. Brief description of project including medium used: Catholic schoolgirl (Mrs. Mullin) who digs riding dirtbikes.

4. Why did you choose this medium and in a perfect world, what medium would you have chosen? Computer images. We would choose the same one because it was easy for us to create and change, and enhance images using computer software.

5. What do you think are some of the limitations of this project (any aspect)? It was hard to import pictures into the program we used.

6. What you recommend to other students beginning this project? Ask creative questions in your interview.

7. What would you do differently? Scott would have taken more time and put in more effort. Dan would have tried to blend the girlŐs head and other things into the background better.

8. What problems did you run into and how did you solve them? It was hard to draw cigarettes on the computer. We made them thinner.

9. Do you think the process was as important as the product for you? Why or why not? Yes it was. In order to get the product, you had to be involved with the process.

10. Additional comments: Scott liked this project. He thinks it should continue to be funded.
